Summary:In this paper, we introduce a method for visualizing three-dimensional (3D) models of civil engineering field cases, including the geological structures and hydrology at a large-scale landslide site and contamination modeling at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. In addition, we introduce a 3D model of benzene in contaminated soil at the new Toyosu market using a geostatistical method. These 3D models can be used to improve survey accuracy and develop remediation techniques. The models can also be used for more effective information sharing between stakeholders.
